Suzanne Patterson – Blog author and documentary producer
A treatment for schizophrenia and parkinson’s called B.E.A.M is available in Ecuador. It is restoring ‘a life worth living’ in the 85 people who have received the surgical treatment thus far. My mission is to make this treatment known to the English speaking world, as all of the people who have had the B.E.A.M procedure have been Latinos.
All of the communication about BEAM treatment for schizophrenia, prior to my meeting Dr. Mackliff in 2013, was in Spanish. First, the doctor created a website in English www.beamprocedure.com; then I edited his medical book Schizophrenia and Parkinson Surgery – A new and efficient regulation of dopaminergic synapses after B.E.A.M (bilateral electrocoagulation of adrenal medulla) in English and assisted him with publishing it through Nova Science Publications in the U.S. Soon it will be sent to the World Congress – Neuro-Talks’ chairman and co-chairman. Mackliff presented his work and a case study of Sergio in English at the World Neuro-Talks in China in 2015.
Internationally, there is a lot of interest in Dr. Mackliff’s BEAM treatment; it is new, but rapidly becoming known to the world’s scientific community. Based on the evolution of past radically different medical treatments (Burzynski, 1977), it takes between 10 and 20 years before a new treatment becomes known and accepted by the established medical communities.
There is great initial resistance by the pharmaceutical industry, as there was in the 20 year battle they engaged in to destroy Burzynski’s cancer treatment based on a customized genetic treatment that eliminated the need for chemo and radiation therapies. Finally, they stole his work by recruiting one of his key researchers and began offering clinic trials in this new medicine as recently as two years ago. It is offered in combination with reduced chemotherapy.
Getting the word out in English about B.E.A.M through my planned documentary is a huge first step in making Dr. Mackliff’s B.E.A.M treatment known in North America and Europe. Please help us to pass the word along.
